About the Role
We are seeking a structured, analytical, and execution-driven Director, Business Operations & Strategy to lead defined integration and transformation initiatives across SHVR’s markets, brands, and functions.
This role sits within SHVR’s Business Operations organization and operates as an engagement leader responsible for structuring executable initiatives and delivering measurable results. The Director will shape and structure significant bodies of work inside high-impact initiatives across M&A integration, operating model design, revenue and cost optimization, value creation, and cross-functional transformation.
This is not a traditional project or program management role, but rather a high-ownership role requiring structured problem solving, executive communication, and disciplined execution in a fast-scaling, acquisition-driven platform.
The Director partners directly with the VP and SVP, Business Operations & Strategy, Market General Managers, and other functional leaders to ensure that initiatives are aligned to deliverable goals, and delivered with measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Transformation Execution
- Align to enterprise goals set by the VP, translating priorities into structured, executable workstreams with clear sequencing and ownership
- Lead integration and transformation efforts within defined bodies of work, driving execution from workstream design through delivery and transition to operational ownership
- Shape and build clear execution roadmaps against significant bodies of work
Integration & Program Execution
- Contribute to the structuring of initiatives across the full transformation lifecycle:
- Ideation and opportunity assessment
- Provide partnership on strategy development and hypothesis formation
- Help shape program design and mobilization
- Execution and delivery
- Transition into “run” ownership
Analysis, Insight Development, and Innovation
- Conduct structured quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Build financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases tied to EBITDA impact
- Evaluate performance trends across markets, brands, and functions
- Synthesize complex analysis into clear, executive-ready recommendations
- Manage and execute analysis within workstreams, developing and deploying practical solutions to solve defined problems
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner directly with Market GMs, Directors of Operations, Brand GMs, Revenue leadership, Technology, and Finance
- Participate in interviews, working sessions, and structured problem-solving discussions
- Build credibility quickly with acquired PMC leaders and functional leaders
- Create and deliver synthesized findings to shape and inform initiative strategy
- Support alignment across diverse stakeholders with competing priorities
Execution Discipline and Rigor
- Apply and contribute to the evolution of integration playbooks and transformation frameworks
- Maintain consistent execution standards across assigned workstreams
- Contribute to the consistency and predictability of delivery across the portfolio
What This Role Is Not
- Not a traditional project management position
- Not a functional operating role responsible for day-to-day KPIs
- Not a staff-augmentation support function
- Not an advisory-only strategy role detached from execution and results delivery
- This role delivers outcomes through disciplined execution and stakeholder influence
The Successful Applicant
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- 3–6+ years in management consulting, strategy & transformation, business operations, or similar high-intensity environments
- Demonstrated ability to help shape complex problems and drive initiatives to execution
- Experience working alongside senior stakeholders and operators strongly preferred
- Prior exposure to M&A integration, multi-unit operations, or platform environments is advantageous
- Exceptional analytical and structured thinking skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and storytelling ability
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
- Comfort operating autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- High ownership mindset with a bias toward action
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to meaningfully improve the quality, speed, and throughput of strategic work, with genuine curiosity about where the technology is headed

Travel
This role requires approximately 25–35% travel to visit markets and support integration and transformation initiatives. Travel intensity may increase during active integrations or major execution milestones.
