About the Role
SHVR is building a portfolio of 20 independently branded vacation rental management companies — roughly 5,000 units across five regions. The halo brand and the sub-brand architecture are the product. This role takes the brand system being developed with our brand studio and turns it into a deployable, persona-targeted creative library that the BD team and the PMCs use to win and retain owners every day.
This is operational and shipping work. The brand studio delivers the system; you make it real. Pitch decks, sell sheets, postcards, microsite templates, email templates, owner welcome kits — built in halo plus sub-brand variants, in three persona-targeted versions, with templatization as the operating principle.
What You'll Own
- Brand system operationalization. You will take the halo brand system from the brand studio and turn it into a working Figma library, design token system, and deployable template library across 20 PMC sub-brands. The brand book becomes operational because of you.
- Owner-acquisition asset library. You will build and maintain the deployable creative library — pitch decks, sell sheets, postcards, microsite templates, email templates, owner welcome kits. Halo plus sub-brand variants, three persona-targeted versions of each. Templates and systems are the default; one-off creative is rare and always built with templatization in mind.
- Editorial voice and content design. You will hold the brand voice across owner-facing surfaces — headlines, postcard copy, landing page copy, email subject lines and body. Persona-aligned: data-forward for the Optimizer, reassurance-forward for the Steward, stewardship-forward for the Legacy owner. You write well and edit freelance into the brand.
- Photography direction and visual standards. You will own the photography standards, run the portfolio audit, brief new shoots, and set the AI-enhancement plan for legacy listing photography. SHVR does not shoot itself; you control how the work gets shot.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 6-10 years in brand design with operational deployment experience. You have shipped systems at scale, not just designed marks
- Demonstrated multi-brand or sub-brand architecture work. Hospitality, premium DTC, or branded house portfolio experience
- Figma fluency at the system level: components, variants, tokens, and libraries
- Editorial sensibility and copy capability. You write headlines and edit a freelancer's draft into the brand
- Photography direction experience: you have briefed shoots, owned visual standards, set production specs
- Has worked under tight production deadlines and shipped at volume
Preferred
- Real estate, hospitality, or premium consumer brand background
- Direct mail and postcard creative experience
- Microsite or landing page design fluency in tools like Relume, Webflow, or Framer
- Experience working alongside growth or performance marketing teams
Tools and Systems You'll Work With
Figma (primary); Adobe Creative Suite; Relume, Webflow, or Framer for web; ESP-native email templates; Claude or equivalent for copy drafting; Lightroom and AI enhancement tools for photography; Notion, Slack, and Loom for production and collaboration.
Why Join Us
A sub-brand architecture problem at this scale is rare. The closest precedents are luxury hospitality groups, and they don't hire senior designers often. The work is operational and shipping — you make the brand real every day, and the creative gets used across 20 operating companies. You will hold editorial voice ownership, photography direction, and the asset library. Direct line to the CMO with creative authority and no design committee.
The function is being built. As the portfolio grows, this role's scope grows with it. Strong performance has obvious places to go.
